The Greek Festival in Raleigh, NC began in 1982 when numerous parishioners of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church expressed a strong desire to share their Greek heritage and culture with the people of this area. As most things in the beginning, it started small in the Scott Pavilion at the NC Fairgrounds and quickly outgrew that space and moved to its present location at the Jim Graham building at the NC Fairgrounds.

As we have grown, so have our philanthropic efforts to support Habitat for Humanity with a portion of our proceeds in addition to our parishioners contributing many man hours to help build Habitat homes.

Each year, the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church parishioners become and act as one mind in order to continue the history and tradition of the Greek Festival and provide excellent service to the Raleigh community. All the staff, dancers, chefs, bakers, set up and clean-up crews, etc., are parishioners of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church who volunteer their time to make our festival an event to remember!
