Southwest Iowa Hot Air Balloon Days

Almost 35 balloons participate in races over the weekend. In addition there is a parade with a marching band contest and balloonist and many more, also a doll show, arts & crafts fair, flea market, balloon night glow, food booths and more. Come for the day or the weekend.

9 a.m - Noon: Caboose Open - Uptown

8:30 a.m - 2 p.m: Friends of the Library Used Book Sale - 503 W. Adams St.

9 a.m - Noon: Creston Model Railroaders - Depot

All Day: Presidential Doll Display - Depot

10:30 a.m: Parade - Marching Bands, Balloonists and more - Uptown

1 p.m: Creston High School 2024 Band Field Event - CHS

1 - 4:30 p.m: Historical Village Open - McKinley Park

2 p.m: Pet Show - Airport

2:30 p.m: Pedal Pull - Airport

2:30 p.m: Bags Tournament - Airport

4:30 p.m: Evening Balloon Competition Flight - Airport

5:00 p.m: RC (Radio Controlled) Hot Air Balloon Demonstrations - Airport

6:00 p.m: Dock of the Bay - Eagles
