3:00 pm - 5:10 pm: The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys / AJ Lee & Blue Summit

Formed in the Smoky Mountains, The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys are exactly what you would expect and not at all what you would expect from a tattooed East Tennessee bluegrass outfit. However, they take pride in being ambassadors of their genre. The group has brought their music from rural bluegrass festival stages to the rock clubs of Europe, and even the Grammy red carpet. Emerging Artist of the Year at the 2018 IBMA Awards, the Po’ Ramblin’ Boys’ passion for bluegrass is as clear as it is contagious.

AJ Lee & Blue Summit are an acclaimed bluegrass band from California’s Bay Area. Led by singer-songwriter and mandolinist AJ Lee they have performed throughout the US, UK, Ireland and France. The ensemble also features Jan Purat on fiddle, Sullivan Tuttle and Scott Gates on guitars and Chad Bowen on bass. Drawing from influences such as country, soul, swing and rock ‘n’ roll, their undeniable talent and insatiable passion for bluegrass is grounded in the tradition while still remaining uniquely modern.
