12th Annual SFA Jacksonville Surf Festival
Join Surfers for Autism for their 12th Annual Jacksonville Beach Surf Festival on Saturday, September 14th from 8 am to 4 pm behind the Hampton Inn Oceanfront.
Come out to participate or volunteer with this amazing Non-profit organization. Kids and young adults with autism and other special needs will get a chance to feel the glide of the surf through the help of dedicated people and watermen. SFA offers a chance for local businesses and resources to connect with the special needs community in their area. Participant and Volunteer check-in starts at 8 AM Saturday morning 9/14, and we start surfing around 9 AM, so don't be late! Event after-party located to be announced!

Participant & Volunteer Meeting
Meet at the HUB tent for important information about the day.
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
First Surf Session Begins
Participants will be divided into different groups by wristband colors and will surf when their color is displayed. Each participant will get at least a 25 minute surf session before lunch and one after.
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
FREE LUNCH for Participants, their Families, and Volunteers
Lunch is donated by local area restaurants and eateries and provided to you by Surfers for Autism. Please be aware that if you have special dietary needs or restrictions, you may want to bring your own lunch. SFA is not responsible for what is donated.

Event Clean-Up and Volunteer Surfboard Wash & Load
After an amazing day of fun in the sun, please help SFA wash our surfboard equipment in the ocean and carry a board to our trailer so we can have a clean and well-organized equipment for the next event!
