During the 1970s, a filmmaker immerses his daughter in the magic of cinema, where chaos meets fantasy. The father is Luigi Comencini, the famous film director, who is on the set of his film Pinocchio; the daughter is his third child, Francesca, who is determined to become a director herself. A deep bond is created that will sustain them through good and bad.
