The Annual Glen Ridge Arts & Eco Fair returns on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This joint celebration of the arts and the environment is an all-day vendor marketplace, art show and environmental expo providing free entertainment for the whole family. This highly anticipated event in front of Glen Ridge High School along Ridgewood Avenue celebrates creativity, expression, and conservation of our natural resources.
The Glen Ridge Arts & Eco Fair brings together a curated exhibition of arts and crafts vendors, sustainability and wellness vendors, eco exhibits and hands-on demonstrations such as beekeeping, composting, and solar and car technology.
Vendors will showcase a wide range of arts, crafts, and wellness services. Fair-trade, organic and eco-smart products will be available for sale, including native plants, encouraging everyone to become more conscientious about the choices and purchases they make. While shopping and browsing, attendees can enjoy food concessions and live entertainment by local musicians.
This year’s event will be greener than ever, as vendors will be held to strict sustainability standards. Styrofoam, balloons, and single-use plastics are prohibited.
The Arts Festival has been an annual event for 44 years, with the Eco Fair being added in 2007.
